Natàlia: Grandpa, why are you so old?

Adrian: Cause I was born too many years ago!

Natàlia: And you Grandma, too?

Paula: Yes my Dear.

Adrian: You´ll also get older Paula, wrinkles will grow on your face, and your hair will get whiter and will fall out.

Natàlia: No, that´s not true!

Paula: Yes darling. I was young like you! All my life I was looking for a solution for be ever young!

Natàlia: And did you find it?

Paula: No, I didn´t.

Adrian: But become an adult and get older isn´t so bad. You learn a lot of things and you live good moments that you can remember for ever.

Natàlia: So become an adult is good!

Paula: Yes, it is. But life is not a bed of roses!

Natàlia: Anyway, I want to live it. And in this moment get older doesn´t frightens me! I love you grandparents!

All famous people become more famous after they´re dead.

Bob Marley, Michael Jackson, Steve Jobs (apple foundator), are examples of persons that after they die, become more famous than his begginings. Surely this happens to any person who has an idol. Maybe in his life, they follow them in his clothing style, talking syle, and also in his living style.
But when they die, the followers make an accent of his follow-up an remember them strongly.

As you now, Steve Jobs died this 5 of October. He was the foundator of the Apple Market.

Why I choosed these evidences?, well, because here we can see my level of English. In the oral, I am quite quiet, I have a good pronuntiation and I esed better words than my orals in 1st of Batxillerat. In the written, I was able to use a better form of writting, because now I make posts using more the reason, and not make posts for make them.

I think that my level of Engllish has increased a lot only for two reasons: In oral and listening, now I can understant nearly all that an English speaker says to me, and also, I can understant almost all the texts that I read, so I can have more comprehension. And finnally, In writting, I can make better texts with more sense and importance and it´s all thanks to Batxillerat and the teachers.

My first post in 1st of Bat.

Dear Lourdes

I know who are you but I´m just writting to introduce myself. My name is Adrian Santeliz and i´m fifteen years old. I live in Empuriabrava (Castelló d´Empúries) with all my family. I love play the saxo and go to gym...it´s my time of relax, sure, jaja.

And...wath about you?What music do you like? I was studying music in the music school of Castelló d´Empúries but i live of this place because there was too expensive of time, I explain you, I don´t have much time for all the extraschool activities.

I´m studying first of Batxillerat in Castelló, because I want to be a mechanical engyneer and get a good job.

That age in the school it´s too difficult because Phisic, Matemathics and another subjects are really complicated...

My last post in 2nd of Bat.

Sometimes when we need to take an important decision, it is best to rely on the drive, passion, because reason usually tries to get away from the dream. Justifying not yet the time has come.

The reason is afraid of defeat, while intuition loves life and its challenges.
Being passionate is not a disorder, provided that we act with the wisdom of the heart. It is closely connected to behave more emotional than rational.

But sometimes, reason can help us to avoid some hard problems, because if we only act passionately, when something don´t went so good, maybe we will fall in a hard depression. So, why we can not live using the reason but passionately?, I mean, if people uses his wisdom using the hearth, surelly the world could be a better place in all aspects: commercial, social, in the family...all you can think.


Evaluation: Now I have a better level of maturity because my posts have more sense and have important topics, because in 1st of Bat. I was looking always for the dictionary finding the meaning of words for my posts, now, I have a better independence. The topic of the posts were a little beat shorter and now are longer. Also, my level of vocabulary and grammar is higher because now I can use some phrasal vebs, scientific or philosophical words...and the presentation is better too! In my fist posts sometimes I didn´t put some photos or videos, now, I choose the best photos and videos for my blog.

I think my best improvent is in the fluency, and thanks to that, I can writte a better sense posts.

Normal for young people, magic to others

One day we went in family to an our friend´s house I was really amazed. My father´s friend, has a lot of ultimate electronical things like computers, mobilephones like iphone and he has an ipad. He lent it to me and I were using it. I shown it to my granmother and She was very very shoked. She can not imagine the possibilities of those things.

I shown her some functions like internet, google maps-satellites, photo editor, face time and others and She were freaking.

Nowadays, best technologies for young people is efemeral, because always is changing, but surelly if you show them to an old person, she would think that in fem years, we will be fliyng arround the world with jetpacks or other crazy things, really.

So, we have to appreciate new technoligies, because our grandparents haven not get them, and the most important, us them wisely.

This week I have turned mad: a lot of exams

This week I'll have an endless number of tests to aprove the subjects I have failed like maths, physics, philosophy ... uff, I have a lot of work. But well, I hope I can pass it. I'm trying to pass it all to go to the selectivity in June, and not in September, because there are other recoveries in June before the selctivity. Now I´m studying philosofy and maths, and for the moment, I carrie it very well.

It is very difficult, but I believe that with persistence I will be able to get it, is just effort and study a lot. And as Bob Marley say in one of his songs, "Do not worry, be happy" because all we need in our lives for get our goals, is a bit of perseverance and determination.

I know that some persons can think that this situation is my fault, and they are right, but I am like now because, really, I am a very busy person.

I want to pass everything to go to university and actually do what I like. Finish here and "fly away".

Film Reviem: I Am Legend

2012. An entire city (New York) has been debasted by a virus that has spread rapidly around the world after finding a supposed cure for any cancer. Robert Neville (Will Smith) is the only survivor of this pandemic and have to live surrounded by mutants that were transformed by the pandemic. The rest of people without polluting, the mutants had killed them or some decided to kill himslef. Robert Neville was a military scientist and was always looking for the cure to the pandemic (he was immune as a small number of people). He was always sening a message via radio to find any person not concerned that he was still alive.

One day Robert decides to kill a number of mutant, becasue they killed his best friend, a dog, but he was not successful, but when he was hunting, was rescued by a woman with a child. They care him and protect themselves from attacks by mutants and eventually Robert gets the cure of the disease. But at that moment, they were hunded by monsters, so Robert put his two friends in a small bunker and gave him the medicine . Hekilled himself and the monsters by a grenade to save his friends.

Over time, the woman and her son returned to the fort where they lived and used the recipe. So Robert becomes the legend.

Subliminal Messages

A subliminal message is a signal or message designed to pass below normal limits of perception. May be, for example, inaudible to the conscious mind but audible to the unconscious mind or deep, can also be transmitted from an image so shortly to go unnoticed by the conscious mind but still, unconsciously perceived.

Today, one of my post are going to be about subliminal messages, messages that advertising companies created to attract more audience to their products or simply change the attitude for buying those products, most of the subliminal messages are related with sex or religion.

-Farmer: Oh, Dear! How many times I´ve to work a lot to have a better life?

-Me: Er...I don´t know, but surelly you´ll have to do it, because...because the wage of a farmer is very small.

-Farmer: Yes, you´re right, always I´m working and working in the soil, to buy my products at a really low cost, what a shame!

-Me: I think that, not only you, all farmers have to increase the prices and have a better life I think.

-Farmer: Yes, because now, the most important commercials are technologies and no what we have to eat, know what I mean?

-Me: Of course, and the problem is, because that, the number of farmers is decreasing very faster.

-Farmer: Well, all we have to do is waiting for better social times and, hum...pray that by the Time we can continue working...

-Me: Why not?...

TV Series.

This TV serie follow the adventures of four penguins, Skipper (the leader and the strongest), Kowalski (the intelligent, logistics), Rico (the psychotic and weapons expert), and Cape (Private U.S.) (the lower and adorable), in New York City in the Central Park Zoo. The penguins have their missions in their habitat in Central Park.

This funny and entertainig serie, for me, is one of the best made by Nickelodeon. When I can I see it with my brother and our favorite character is Rico because is very funny with his weapons and fights.

I recommend you to see it whenever. Here in Catalonia, is transmitted in Super 3/3XL or in Catalan. Is very funny and and only is the TV serie that I can watch because I don´t have more time for watch more series.

Dear John Ritch,

in the last few years, Electric energy has become a primary resource for all of us and a really economic motor. From thermycal industries to solar plants, from fire to sun, the newest experience for humans has been the nuclear power.

Nuclear power give us a very big mass of our consumption of electricity and we have to recognize it, being a “clean form of energy” and has a very long powerful. The problem of nuclear plants, is that the relation between beneffit-risk is very strong. Maybe for you, the beneffits are more important and really, I understand you, because big companies of nuclear plants gets a lot of profitsin a short period of time. But nuclear plants has a very strong power, when are controlled, all conditions very good, but when in same plants are some problems it can generate a global warning.

For example, the recently disaster of Japan can give us an idea. There, nuclear plants “feeds” the 30% of the people, but after the disaster, maybe it destroyed the 30% of the people, the 50% of the economic system, and a very big percentage in the health of the country or the world, and the most important, the nuclear power system in other countries.

So, I agree with you to improve our technologies in order to produce more energy but at the same time we are thinking how to improve it, and also we have to think how much it affects in the world.

I am not an engineer or a very good scientist, but I think that we have to improve our clean technologies.

Film Reviem: Iron Man

Iron Man is a film that I like a lot, because this film have a lot of fiction science and a lot of special effects. The main character is Tony Stark, a superhero. His public identity is Tony Stark, a successful businessman and billionaire, that appears in comic books published by Marvel Comics. Tony Stark is a very intelligent person, and he made a lot of military armament.

When he knows all the evil that he was doing, He designed a prototype which was a suit of titanium alloy and gold, to destroy all its weapons. Finnaly he gets to destroy what he created and everything returned to normally. The main characters are: Tony Stark (Iron Man), Pepper Potts (His assistant), Jarvis (His super Computer) and the antagonist Obadiah Stane or Iron Monger (The thief of the prototype Iron Man). I give to this movie a mark of 9, because I liked a lot the special effects and the futuristic plot.

There is another movie about Iron Man, Iron Man 2, obviously, but I finded it so bored.
